The Central Securities Depository Regulation (CSDR) Settlement Discipline Regime (SDR) became effective on Feb. 1, 2022. This European Union (EU) regulation seeks to enhance and harmonize the settlement infrastructure for EU securities, through a heightened regulatory regime. The regulation applies to all Central Securities Depositories (CSDs) in the EEA, Issuers of Transferrable Securities, MiFID Investment firms, central counterparties, trading venues and crucially: all market participants (wherever located, not just EU entities).
The last key phase of our internal development work for CSDR was the updates we made to our Pivot digital client experience platform. Clients now have enhanced online reporting to better manage trade fails and penalties through our online tool.
In this webinar session, our experts covered:
- A brief overview of CSDR and the changes to our service offering.
- A deep dive into our Pivot enhancements via live demo.
- Q&A session.
