How do I enroll in Real-Time Rewards?
Real-Time Rewards lets you redeem for the rewards you want from the stores you prefer, without visiting the Rewards Center. When you use our Real-Time Rewards program, we will send you text messages after you make credit card purchases within pre-selected categories. After you receive the text message, simply reply “REDEEM” to redeem rewards for statement credits. (Standard messaging charges apply through your mobile carrier.)
Ready to get started? Follow the directions below to enroll in the Real-Time Rewards program. You can make changes at any time after enrollment.
Enroll in Real-Time Rewards using online banking
- From your account dashboard, select the card you want to enroll. Then select View rewards and choose Redeem rewards.
- Choose Real-Time Rewards, then select Enroll now.
- Enter your mobile number, confirm it, and provide a minimum purchase amount (defaults to $10).
Note: The name on the card and last four digits of that card number will automatically populate on the form. - All categories are selected as a default. Uncheck the box to customize your categories.
- Review the terms, if you accept then mark the check box and select Continue.
- Review your enrollment information. If correct, select Confirm.
Enroll in Real-Time Rewards using the U.S. Bank Mobile App
- Select the card you want to enroll, choose Rewards and benefits, then select Redeem or view my rewards.
- Choose Real-Time Rewards, then select Enroll now.
- Enter your mobile number, confirm it, and provide a minimum purchase amount (defaults to $10).

- Review the terms, if you accept then mark the check box and select Continue.
- Review your enrollment information. If correct, select Confirm.
More information
- The minimum purchase amount is what you set to trigger a text alert to your mobile device.
- When it's received, you can redeem your cash rewards immediately. The credit will appear on your next statement.
- Minimum purchase amounts are $150 for car rentals and lodging; $10 for all other categories.
- You won't receive text alerts for purchases that don't meet the minimum amount you select above.
- Gas station and restaurant categories are not available for redemption.
