How do I change my ATM or debit card PIN?

You can change the PIN for your personal or business ATM or debit card anytime. You'll need to have a registered cellular device (mobile number) and your old PIN to change it. See also: How do I establish a registered cellular device on my profile?

Note, a PIN needs to be four digits with no spaces and cannot be 0000 or 9999.

How to change your PIN using online banking

  1. Select your checking or savings account from the dashboard, select Accounts, then Manage cards.
  2. In the Card controls area select Reset PIN.
  3. Select the card you’d like to change the PIN for, then Continue.
    Note:
     You may be asked for your previous PIN and/or to enter a one-time passcode.
  4. Enter your desired number, confirm it, then select Save PIN

How to change your PIN using the U.S. Bank Mobile App 

  1. Open the main menu, then choose Manage Cards
  2. Choose the card associated with the PIN, then scroll down and select Reset PIN.
    Note:
     You may be asked for your previous PIN and/or to enter a one-time passcode
  3. Enter your desired number, confirm it, then select Save PIN.
