How do I enable or disable push notifications?

Turning on push notifications can add another layer of security. They’re pop-up messages that notify you of activity through a mobile app, even if the app isn’t open. These notices typically appear on a lock screen and/or the top of the screen on a mobile device.

There’s not a specific push notification to enable in the U.S. Bank Mobile App. Instead, go to the “Settings” on your device and enable push notifications there. If your device notifications aren’t on and you try to enable notifications on U.S. Bank Mobile App, you’ll be redirected to turn on device notifications.

Types of push notifications we offer:

  • Profile & security: Notifies you of profile and security changes to protect you from unauthorized activity.
  • Account activity: Notifications about balances, transactions, and fees.
  • Insights & updates: Provides important financial information and timely messages about your accounts.
  • Bill pay: Know when bills and payments are due.
  • Purchases: Notifications about your latest purchases and payments.
  • Zelle®: Notifies you of Zelle® activity.
  • Cash-back deals: Get notified of new deals, expiring deals, and cash-back earned.
  • Mobile check deposits: Real-time status on checks deposited using the U.S. Bank Mobile App.

If you don't want to receive push notifications, but want something similar, see: How do I add or remove account alerts? These are notifications sent via email or text message based on account activity you choose.
