How do I enroll in digital banking?

Digital banking is a convenient and safe way to manage your accounts. 

To enroll using mobile or online banking

  1. Navigate to usbank.com and select Create a username and password (found at the bottom of the login pop-up).
    Mobile banking users: Open your app store and download the U.S. Bank Mobile App. Open the app and select Create a username and password (found below the login button).
  2. Provide your card or account number and the last four digits of your Social Security number (SSN). Then select Continue.
  3. Choose whether you're enrolling your personal or business accounts. Then select Continue.
    Business accounts: You'll identify the type of business account you have and provide the requested information (e.g., PIN, TIN, etc.). 
  4. Enter your mobile number* and select Continue. We will text you a one-time passcode as part of our verification process. 
  5. Enter the passcode into the space provided and select Continue.
  6. Enter a username of your choice. Username requirements:
    • Needs to be at least seven characters; with a maximum of 22 characters.
    • No spaces or special characters allowed.
    • Must have at least one number and one upper-case letter.
  7. Enter a password of your choice. Password requirements:
    • Needs to be at least eight to 24 characters with no spaces.
    • Must include at least one number.
    • Must include at least one letter.
  8. Provide your email address, then select Continue.
    Business accounts: You may be asked for your business phone number in addition to your email address.
  9. You'll receive a confirmation page for the enrollment. Select Done to return to the login page.

*If you don't have a registered cellular device on file, you may need to call us to have it added to your profile first. Please contact us at the applicable number below. We accept relay calls.

Once enrollment is complete AND you log in for the first time, you'll be prompted to accept a digital services agreement. Scroll to the bottom of the agreement and select I accept to continue to digital banking. 

When setting up your password, you may receive an error message if:

  • Three identical characters or numbers are listed in a row.
  • You use your username as the password.
  • You're using a variant of the word "password" (e.g., Password1, 1password!, etc.).

Business accounts

  • Authorized officers (i.e., business owners) and employees need to enroll using their assigned card or account number and the last four digits of their SSN.
  • Employees have access to view their individual employee card/account only.

Business credit cards:

  • If you have a business credit card account set up with central billing:
    • Only the authorized officer can view and manage it.
    • Authorized officers will have access to view their card/account, view and manage the central billing account, and all employees' cards/accounts.
  • If you have a business credit card set up as individual billing:
    • Only the individual cardholder can view and manage it.
    • Authorized officers can only access and view their card; they cannot view or manage an employee's card.
