Sometimes we forget our passwords. If you need to reset yours, here's how:
How to reset you digital banking password using Online banking
- Select Get login help below the Log In button. Next enter your username then choose Continue.
- Enter the last four digits of your SSN then Continue.
- We'll send you a one-time passcode to your mobile number to enter. Or to enter your debit/ATM card PIN select Verify another way.
- Enter your new password, re-enter it, then select Update password.
- A confirmation screen will display. Select Continue to be automatically logged in.
How to reset you digital banking password using the U.S. Bank Mobile App
- On the Login screen, select Get login help.
- Enter your mobile number and the last four digits of your SSN, then select Continue.
- Choose to have a one-time passcode sent; or select Try another way to use your debit/ATM card PIN as verification.
- Select Reset password to change it.
- Enter your new password, re-enter it, then select Update Password.
- You can then choose to set up biometric login if your device qualifies. Otherwise select Login to return to the login screen.

Your mobile number needs to be registered on your profile at least three business days before it can be used for one-time passcode authentication. See: How do I establish a registered cellular device on my profile?
Passwords need to meet the following criteria:
- It's 8-24 characters in length
- Include both letters and numbers
- No spaces
- Optional special characters include: ~ ! $ ^ ( ) - = + } | ; : > @ # &
