Following its annual employee recognition program, Legends of Possible, U.S. Bank announced a total of $100,000 in grants to community organizations serving the Phoenix area. This investment is the first significant philanthropic effort connected to Legends of Possible.
The bank funded donations on behalf of employees who attended the event. As part of their experience, employees were able to choose one of three organizations to support. Each of the organizations align closely with the bank’s enterprise-wide giving platform, Community Possible, which has a philanthropic and community focus on breaking down systemic barriers to racial and economic equity for women, people of color and low- and moderate-income communities.
“Legends of Possible is an opportunity for us to recognize some of our best and brightest employees,” said Art Perez, Community Affairs manager. “As this year’s celebration took place in Phoenix, we used that opportunity to reaffirm our commitment to investing in the communities where we live and work.”
